The town of Vejer itself is literally oozing in history & culture. You get a definite feeling of what it must have been like to live in the golden era of the Moors.

Vejer’s churches and castles although not particularly extravagant, have an important role in the town’s history. Contemporary art exhibitions can be seen just outside the town in the Fundacion de Arte Contemporaneo of Montemedio.
