Kayaking in the Atlantic Ocean is risky because of the strong currents, but on tranquil days you can enjoy a trip kayaking along the coastline, without going to far from the coast, for your personal security. You´ll enjoy the beautiful cliffs of Caños de Meca and the extensive Palmar Beach only a few kilometers from Vejer de la Frontera.

Remember that if you get near the Trafalgar lighthouse there are areas of very strong currents, for which we advise not to get to far from the coast, as well as get tips from more experienced athletes. On the other hand you should know that there is a wonderful inlet of calm waters around the area of Vejer de la Frontera where you can enjoy a day of kayaking.
